Kim Taehyung, also known as V, is a South Korean singer, songwriter and actor. He is a member of the boy group BTS, under BigHit Music. As a solo artist, V has released two self-composed songs, "풍경 (Scenery)" and "Winter Bear" in 2019. He made his acting debut under his birth name on 2016 with the supporting role Han-Sung in the historical drama 화랑 (Hwarang: The Poet Warrior Youth). He also collaborated with bandmate Jin on the duet "It's Definitely You" for the show's soundtrack. In 2020, V released the single "Sweet Night" as the soundtrack for the JTBC drama Itaewon Class and in 2021, he released the single "Christmas Tree" as part of the original soundtrack for the Studio N television series Our Beloved Summer. In 2018, he was awarded the fifth-class Hwagwan Order of Cultural Merit by the President of South Korea along with the other members of BTS, for his contributions to Korean culture.
